At Restaurante Santiago Sarria we cook the way we always have.
At Restaurante Santiago Sarria, we cook the way it has always been done in Galicia: with local produce, time-onoured recipes and the patience each dish deserves. No shortcuts. The octopus gets its full cooking time, the Galician veal comes from trusted suppliers, the desserts are made by us. Nothing leaves our kitchen that we cannot stand behind. Since 1999 we have been feeding locals, travellers and pilgrims on the Camino Francés passing through Sarria. And we carry on just the same — with the same passion and respect for the produce.

Wines with character and roots
Our wine list features a carefully chosen selection to complement every dish.
From Galicia, we work with denominations such as Ribeira Sacra, with its mencía reds from terraced vineyards in the Sil canyon, and Rías Baixas, world-renowned for albariño. Wines with personality, rooted in the land and Galician winemaking tradition.
For those who prefer Spanish classics, we stock labels from Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Toro — aged wines that pair perfectly with our grilled meats and Galician veal.
We round off the list with sweet wines for dessert, sparkling wines for celebrations, and magnum formats for those who want wine to be part of the occasion.
Do not hesitate to ask — we always have a recommendation to match what you are ordering. Wine is part of the experience at Restaurante Santiago in Sarria, and we take that seriously.
